Join Ards & North Down Council and Jean-Christophe Novelli for the annual Portavogie Seafood Festival.

The Portavogie Seafood Festival takes place on Saturday 10 August, 12noon – 5pm.

Celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli, will be delivering cooking demos in the festival kitchen.

Visitors can buy, sample – and even have cooked on site! – an array of seafood delights from Northern Ireland’s biggest fish market and artisan food stalls.

The kids will be kept well entertained with fishy fun including a touch tank, fishy characters, crafts and a funfair (charges apply).

Little ones are being encouraged to come dressed as pirates with a prize being awarded for the best dressed boy and girl (Sponsored by Mace).

**New to the event this year**

Trialstar will entertain with their impressive displays performing amazing feats of bravery riding motorcycles.

If that’s not enough also expect Strongman Trawler Pull and live music throughout the day.

Throughout the day a number of FREE buses will be running to facilate getting to and returning from the event click here for more information.
