This Cafe, Farm Shop and Butchers is all about handmade, homegrown and locally sourced. It’s a dream come true for owner Sandra McDowell.
Her journey began with a vision: creating a little, quaint coffee shop, butchers and farm shop that everyone can enjoy. She wanted to have a stylish, modern interior (whilst still incorporating some of the old building we left behind) with a more traditional exterior to blend in with the beautiful rural surroundings.
With locally sourced meats from their butchers to using local companies to supply the Café and shop, they pride ourselves in supporting local businesses and surrounding communities.
Head Chef Jordan Weir’s menus are full of goodies like The Dairy Signature Antrim Fry, Glenarm Salmon with avocado and poached egg on sourdough, Dexter beef burgers, line-caught haddock and chips and fabulous milkshakes made with Maud’s Ice Cream.
Don’t miss their Taste and Tipple Evenings for yummy locally-inspired seasonal dishes from Italian to tapas paired with craft drinks like Copeland Gin. Watch out for them happening once a month. Great kids’ and vegan menus, too. Everyone who has been says it is a hidden gem and that they will be back. It won’t stay hidden for long!
