The Muddler’s Club is loosely named after the society of United Irishmen who met in secret in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter more than 200 years ago.

The restaurant combines a carefully-considered tasting menu with an excellent wine list and curated cocktail menu. The dining room is dark, bustling & has electric energy where you can watch the chefs create your dishes.

Having gained its first Michelin star in 2020 and retained it since, Chef & owner, Gareth Mccaughey’s team use only the best of local ingredients, to meticulously prepare their surprise seasonal tasting menus, as you sit back, relax & soak up the atmosphere.

The sparse descriptions give nothing away but his front of house team will happily divulge their inherent knowledge when prompted & are more than happy to offer their services on recommending top quality wine, beers & cocktails.

The Seasonal Tasting menu changes regularly and offers scope for those with dietary requirements also.
