The New Moon Beckons – Dead of Night Cockatil

The dark February evenings can only mean one thing – the New Moon is upon us. Thursday 11th February marks the next big lunar event in our astronomical calendar, a night where the sky is clearer than ever.

The New Moon occurs when the sun and moon are aligned, rising and setting at the same time, with the moon sitting perfectly between the sun and the Earth. This alignment makes it impossible to see the moon with the naked eye. It’s a symbol of new beginnings, and what better way to welcome in a new phase than by toasting up to the skies with a tantalising beverage.

The Sexton’s Dead of Night cocktail is the ideal companion for stargazing. Crafted with a versatile flavour profile, The Sexton is distilled entirely from Irish malted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills before maturing in Oloroso Sherry casks. The Sexton Single Malt is rich in hue, bold in taste and designed to satisfy your restless spirit, whichever way you like.

The Sexton is available to purchase in Supervalu, Centra, Wineflair and select independent retailers and off-licenses.
