Main Ingredients
  • 1kg Wheat flour
  • 25g Bicarbonate of soda
  • 25g Salt
  • 600g Self-rising flour
  • 150g Sugar
  • 130g Melted butter
  • 1lt Buttermilk
  • 300ml Water

Main Instructions
  1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a mixer
  2. Add melted butter
  3. Add buttermilk
  4. Add water until thick batter
  5. Add mixture to greased and floured loaf tins and bake at 160c for 50mins
