Folk Town Market – Traders Wanted

The Folktown Market is located in the newly refurbished Bank Square, where new surfaces and lights, along with a large and bright new public artwork are leading people in from Royal Avenue.

It is a fantastic space surrounded by some of the oldest churches and buildings in Belfast. Only a hundred yards from Royal Avenue and adjacent to Castle Court it is in a prime location. There is great access to car parking and public transport.

Folktown Market is a weekly event running every Thursday 11am-8pm, starting 16th April 2015. The types of products that we will accept are divided into 9 categories:

Fruit & veg, Dairy, Meat & fish, Flowers & plants, Spices, preserves & condiments, Bakery & confectionary, Drinks, Garments & Other household, Hot food/drink, Arts & Crafts

We support the slow food movement. We give priority to locally sourced produce and products, and to those using local recipes, materials and crafts.

Stalls are provided, and there is access to electricity and water supply. The market is managed by Folktown CIC

Folktown CIC is a social enterprise, not-for-personal-profit, and we are run for and by the local community around Bank Sq. We work to bring life into our streets and boost the local economy. The funds raised through the Folktown Market goes back into the local community’s regeneration projects.
