Award-winning Local Brewery Adds Two New Beers to Tesco NI Range
Tesco Northern Ireland shoppers can discover two more award-winning beers from Randalstown-based Our Brewery, as the independent family-run award-winning brewery expands its range at Tesco.
Light Up Gold, a West Coast IPA, and Hang Up Your Hang Ups, a hazy IPA, will be available in 28 selected Tesco Extra and Superstores across Northern Ireland from October.
Tesco NI currently stocks four Our Brewery beers: Pressure to Pick, an Italian Pilsner; Modern Love, a pale ale; Do You Wanna Funk?, a New England IPA and Prime Time of Your Life, a Belgian tripel.
Every beer in the current Tesco NI range has received independent recognition this year.
Most recently, at the Irish Quality Food & Drink Awards 2026, Pressure to Pick took Gold, Do You Wanna Funk? received Silver, and Hang Up Your Hang Ups and Modern Love each secured Bronze.
Earlier in the year, Light Up Gold, Modern Love, Pressure to Pick and Hang Up Your Hang Ups were recognised at the World Beer Awards 2026. Pressure to Pick and Do You Wanna Funk? also received Stars at the Great Taste Awards 2026.
Michael Crealey, Lead Packaged Buying Manager at Tesco Northern Ireland, said:
“We’re delighted to be bringing Light Up Gold and Hang Up Your Hang Ups into the Tesco NI range this October, adding to an already exciting line-up for customers.”
“Seeing Our Brewery collect awards and recognition across three major competitions this year is a fantastic achievement and a real testament to the team at Randalstown.
“Northern Ireland has a brilliant food and drink industry. Working with suppliers like Our Brewery, allows us to support local businesses while offering customers exciting, high-quality products made close to home.
Jonathan Mitchell, co-founder of Our Brewery, said:
“Tesco’s support has helped us bring our beers to more people across Northern Ireland. Adding Light Up Gold and Hang Up Your Hang Ups to their shelves is another exciting step.”
“We’re incredibly proud of the recognition our beers have received this year. We don’t brew beer to win awards; our focus is on ingredients, fermentation, process, judgement and time. We release a beer when we believe it is ready.
“To have beers from our core range recognised alongside barrel-aged, mixed-fermentation, sour and wild beers that can take years to make, is hugely encouraging for a small independent brewery.”
