Simply Delicious Pink Lady Apple Juice from Leading Craigavon Fruit Specialist

Craigavon-based Simplyfruit, a family business specialising in a broad portfolio of
fresh fruit products has launched an innovative Pink Lady Juice. Simplyfruit is a
FoodNI member.

The juice, according to Connor McCann, who runs the business with brother Patrick
jnr, is crafted from 100 percent Pink Lady apples,”a premium apple variety known for
its crisp texture and balanced sweet-tart flavour.

“Using this variety gives the juice a naturally bright, flavourful profile compared with
generic apple juices. Pink Lady apples are widely recognised for their quality
globally,” explains Connor, a director of the Co Armagh fruit processor and packer
launched by Patrick McCann, his father, founder of the business in 1987.

The latest juice produced by the company is now on sale in Tesco Northern Ireland’s
network of grocery superstores. It supplies a broad range of fruit products to other
grocery business across Ireland. The juice is produced in recyclable cans.

Connor continues: “Simplyfruit is a Northern Ireland–based fresh fruit processing and
packaging company. We produce fresh-cut fruit pieces, fruit pots, snack packs and
fruit juices for retail and food service customers across the UK and Republic of
Ireland. We supply to major retailers and also do own-label products,” he adds.

Simplyfruit’s focus on is on:

  • Fresh prepared fruit – mango, pineapple, melons, grapes, apples;
  • Fruit drinks including the Sparkling Pink Lady juice (with more to come in 2026);
  • Quality, sustainability, and minimal processing, aligning with consumer trends
    towards healthier food options.
    The enterprising company began processing local Bramley apples in small seasonal
    operations near Lough Neagh. It subsequently evolved to become a larger fresh fruit
    processor and innovator in prepared fruit and juices.
    It’s a business which is committed to sustainability, the commitment the new Food
    Strategy Framework is keen to encourage,“We prioritise sustainability across all
    aspects of our business as we recognise that as humans, our most important
    connections will always be to the Earth, Air and Water. We drive sustainability by
    consistently challenging each one of our processes to be as efficient and sustainable
    as possible,” adds Connor.
