Food NI Members’ Success at IQFDAs
Several members of Food NI were on stage to receive recognition at the Irish Quality
Food and Drink Awards. The event took place at the Mansion House in Dublin,
Ireland, on Wednesday 16th September, 2026.
Get Er Brewed’s Our Brewery cleaned up with Gold in Lagers for their Pressure to
Pick – Italian Pilsner, in Ales, they got Silver for and two Bronzes for Hang Up Your
Hang Ups – Hazy India Pale Ale and Do You Wanna Funk – NEIPA and Modern Love
Pale Ale.
Mackle’s Natural Umber Plus won Gold in Functional Drinks in the Health and
Nutrition category.
Papas Mineral Company took Gold in the Christmas Drinks section with their
Winterberry Spiced Cordial.
Long Meadow Farm’s Apple Cider Vinegar was awarded Gold in the Foodservice
Condiments and Dressings sector of Christmas 2026 foods. Long Meadow’s Pure
Apple Juice won Gold in Foodservice Soft Drinks while Papas Mineral Company’s
Cloudy Lemonade Cordial got Bronze in that category.
White’s Oats Toasted Oats, Wild Fruit Crunch (Gold) and their Apple, Cranberry and
Raspberry Granola (Silver) were successful in the Ambient Breakfast category.
Davison Canners and Puds make the Bronze award-winning Lidl Milbona Sticky
Toffee Pudding in the Desserts and Puddings section.
Mash Direct’s Battered Potato Wedges was a Silver winner in Meal
Accompaniments.
Wilson’s Country’s Naked Mash won Silver in the Free From category while their
Mashed Potato took Bronze in Meal Accompaniments.
Lidl Farrell’s Spring Greens by Gilfresh won Silver in the Vegetables Category.
Ireland’s Quality Food & Drink Awards recognise excellence in food and drink
products, across retail and foodservice available to purchase in Ireland. Judges
assess entries on rigorous criteria that reflect consumer expectations and retail
success, spotlighting products that demonstrate exceptional quality, packaging,
flavour and market appeal.
