Broughgammon in Ballycastle, Co.Antrim is taking part in this year’s national #Goatober, the UK’s only month-long celebration of the dairy billy goat meat industry. During the month of October, producers, suppliers, chefs and restaurants are putting a goat dish on their menus and urging diners to try this delicious but much under-used meat, which is a waste product of the goat dairy industry. Roasted, raw, curried, baked, skewered, stuffed into a sausage, goat meat is delicious and versatile.
To celebrate Broughgammon Farm is hosting a special Goatober event on Friday 20th October.
