Are you interested in feeding your community? Want to learn more about the Feeding the City programme? Belfast Food Network is running a workshop..
Belfast Food Network is one of eleven organisations across the UK running an ideas generating workshop to help groups and teams from across Northern Ireland;
1 – Generate ideas to tackle problems in the food system based on real community problems.
2 – Support – where possible – the creation of teams that are keen to work on these ideas.
3 – Inform and encourage teams to apply for the Feeding the City bursary to help turn your ideas into a working business.
Feeding the City is a one year food business start up programme that supports community-rooted initiatives. Teams are encouraged to apply for a £5,500 bursary (closing date 27th January) to help get the business started and cover costs to attend 7 two day workshops with business experts. Teams will also be matched with food industry experts as mentors through the duration of the programme.
It doesn’t matter if you have an idea, are curious or are exploring options, the workshop will help enthuse fledling ideas and generate collaboration.
