The Northern Ireland Year of Food and Drink has been deemed a huge success, attracting huge participation by industry and visitors acknowledging the importance of food in the NI offer. To support the next stages of development, Tourism NI is working with Destination Place and Marketing Consultants BTS to deliver a series of workshops designed to celebrate the success of the Year of Food and Drink in 2016 and to help you take that next step to use the best local foods and enthuse your visitors and customers even more.

Northern Ireland has arguably some of the best and award winning local produce within the UK, with a great raft of local specialist suppliers for the industry to access easily and cost effectively. Add to this some of the most skilled, enthusiastic and talented chefs and business owners, then we have a recipe for success for promoting the area as a highly desirable food and drink destination, not only for those visitors where food and drink is an integral part of their visitor experience, but for everyone. We have the opportunity to consolidate local food and drink as a major attractor, and differentiator, for NI’s tourism success.

This is an unique opportunity to attend a free local programme tailored to your business and help you move to the next step. This will give you the opportunity to build your knowledge, share your experiences, learn from the Great British Menu’s Chris McGowan, Food NI and the BTS team to build an innovative marketing platform, have a new online network for the future and boost your, and NI’s food offer.
