This brand new walking food tour is for Armachians, tourists or visitors to Armagh City who would enjoy the experience of tasting local homemade cuisine prepared by local restaurants whose ethos is fresh, flavoursome food.

Armagh, historically the Ecclesiastical & Spiritual Capital of Ireland, has in recent years developed a brand as a quality food destination and has a team of chefs who form part of the ‘Food Heartland Trail’ to promote local producers and food outlets.

In addition to visiting two restaurants you will be treated to a walking tour of the City Centre to discover the cultural heritage of this gem of a city. The first of these walking trails will take place on Sunday 29 October, BRUNCH TO LUNCH 10.45 am to 2.00pm and will start from outside the Market Place Theatre.

Price: £30 for brunch to lunch tour.

  • Local produce prepared by Award Winning Chefs from 2 local restaurants 4 VICAR’S & ULURU
  • Tasting an assortment of fresh flavoursome delicacies including O’Chatten Smokery Lough Neagh fish, Harnett’s Oils, Burren’s Balsamics, Fivemiletown Cheese, Armagh Bramley, Cavanagh Eggs, Kilkeel Crab, Ballymoran Meats’ cured beef pastrami and more
  • A selection of beverages from the Orchard County
  • Light hearted narrative along the way providing an insight to local history & traditions delivered by a Blue Badge Tour Guide
  • Beautiful architecture and public art along the route
  • The chance to increase your fitness levels whilst walking between venues
