Two Stacks takes flight with Aer Lingus

FoodNI member Two Stacks in Newry, a leading blender and bonder of Irish whiskey
and other spirits, is now supplying Aer Lingus.

Two Stacks has partnered with Aer Lingus to supply exclusive canned whiskies for
their short-haul flights. The partnership celebrates the airline’s 90 th anniversary and
features special editions like their signature Single Pot Still and straight Irish whiskey
in the trademarked ‘Dram In A Can’ format.

Two Stacks Co-Founder Shane McCarthy said: “We’re here to show people that Irish
whiskey is more than a green bottle. The Dram In A Can was always built to take
whiskey to new places, and there’s nowhere better to prove that than 35,000 feet
above Ireland.”

Both expressions are made using Single Pot Still whiskey, a style unique to Ireland
and known for its rich, full-bodied character, reflecting the Irish heritage shared by
Two Stacks and Aer Lingus.

Founded by lifelong friends Shane McCarthy and Liam Brogan, Two Stacks has
reintroduced the traditional bonder approach, sourcing and blending spirits from
across Ireland for its range of expressions.
