Longbridge Drinks Expands Tesco NI Range with Three New Cordials
Longbridge Drinks Company is continuing its partnership with Tesco Northern Ireland with the launch of three brand new cordial flavours, arriving in 35 selected Tesco NI stores from 20th May.
Following the successful launch of the original cordial range in late 2025, the small Belfast family business is now adding Blackcurrant Cordial, Lemonade & Ginger Cordial and Pink Grapefruit Cordial to the shelves.
The new flavours join the company’s existing range of Ginger Cordial, Cloudy Lemonade Cordial, Elderflower Cordial, Spiced Winterberry Cordial and Sarsaparilla Cordial.
Handmade in small batches in the heart of Belfast, the full range continues the company’s focus on proper flavour and traditional drinks made with care.
The Blackcurrant Cordial is all about nostalgia, bringing back the rich old school blackcurrant flavour people remember from years ago. Lemonade & Ginger combines sharp citrus with a warming ginger bite, while Pink Grapefruit Cordial offers a crisp and refreshing citrus taste that works perfectly with sparkling water or in cocktails.
All three can be served simply with chilled still or sparkling water, but the range has also been designed to work well in cocktails and mixed drinks for people wanting to get a bit more creative at home.
Longbridge Drinks Company has continued to build on the success of its popular carbonated range, best known for its Belfast Ginger Ale and award winning Belfast Raspberry & Rose soda. The growing 500ml cordial collection allows the company to continue celebrating its Belfast roots while bringing handcrafted local drinks to even more customers across Northern Ireland.
The relationship with Tesco Northern Ireland has also played a huge part in the growth of the range, with the family business praising the retailer’s continued support for small local producers.
Director Wayne Adair said the partnership has been a hugely positive experience for the business.
“The support we’ve received from Tesco since launching the cordial range has honestly been incredible. As a small Belfast family business, getting an opportunity like this is massive, but what’s really stood out is how supportive and approachable the Tesco team have been throughout the whole process.
“They’ve been fantastic to work with and genuinely passionate about supporting local producers. It has given us the confidence to keep growing the range and continue investing in new flavours.
“The Blackcurrant is probably the most nostalgic flavour we’ve ever made. It tastes exactly how you remember blackcurrant drinks tasting years ago. The Lemonade & Ginger has a lovely citrus freshness with a proper ginger bite and the Pink Grapefruit is just really refreshing, especially with sparkling water over ice.”
The three new flavours will be available from 20th May in 35 selected Tesco Northern Ireland stores.
