WorldHost Customer Service Training Programme

Are you ready to welcome the world to Northern Ireland in 2012?

Minister Arlene Foster and Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry urge the local tourism and hospitality industry to grasp the opportunities available to the sector in 2012 and beyond.

The WorldHost customer service training programme aims to give businesses in the tourism, hospitality, leisure and passenger transport sectors a competitive edge in this time of opportunity which 2012 and the next four years represent.

Developed for the Northern Ireland market by NITB and the tourism and hospitality sector skills council People1st, the programme offers delegates a comprehensive training toolkit that can be used across a wide variety of industries where the quality of front-line customer service is key to business success.

With many new visitor attractions opening soon and exciting events taking place, local tourism businesses are being urged to use WorldHost in their preparations to welcome the world to NI in 2012.

If you are currently employed in a private sector organisation in Northern Ireland; within the tourism, hospitality, travel or passenger transport sectors; and your company employs fewer than 250 employees then you could be eligible for financial assistance through the Department for Employment and Learning funded package for WorldHost customer service training.  This support is available to a limited number of applicants for training received until the end of March 2012.
