This family and dog-friendly spot in the picturesque village of Donaghadee boasts fantastic sea views and superb food and drink with an atmosphere to match.
Head Chef Thomas Coogan sources his ingredients locally where possible. The beef, lamb and pork products come from Hannan Meats and J Wright and Sons, Donaghadee. Elmore and Son provide the seafood. The vegetables come from Grattans in the village while the milk, cream, butter and eggs are from Donaghadee Dairies. The ice-cream is Morelli’s. The bread is in-house.
The menus change with the seasons but expect a jaw dropping Seafood Chowder or sumptuous Breaded Brie Wedges for starters, mouth watering chargrilled Steak or Seabass for mains and maybe a Bounty Cheesecake for dessert.
The Wednesday and Thursday Steak Nights and three course Sunday Specials are uber popular but they recommend you book ahead to avoid disappointment for any lunch or dinner.
