Sage and Onion Stuffing

What’s Christmas dinner without stuffing?

Whether you stuff the bird, or keep it separate, check out this recipe provided by James St South for a tip-top Christmas dinner

Main Ingredients
  • 4 onions
  • 10 sage leaves fresh
  • 50g butter
  • 150g breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg

Main Instructions
  1. Finely chop the onion (1cm dice) and fry in butter on medium heat until soft approx. 10 minutes.
  2. Add in the breadcrumbs, the best way to do breadcrumbs is put in a blender and mix up.
  3. Take the egg and beat up and add to pan. I always roll my stuffing into little round balls rather than stuff into the cavity.
  4. Place on a greased tray and put in oven at 180c for 30 minutes.
