Potato Gratin

This recipe is from Evelyn McBurney and was demonstrated at Orangefest 2014

Servings 4
Potato Gratin
  • 1kg potatoes
  • 3 onions
  • 1 stock cube
  • 50ml cream
  • 50g cheddar cheese

Main Instructions
  1. Thinly slice potatoes (can be done by hand but much quicker in the food processor..!)
  2. Boil for 5 minutes until tender
  3. Saute onions and crumble over stock cube in metal cooking tray
  4. Mix the cooked potato to the onion
  5. Pour over cream and sprinkle cheese over the top
  6. Place under the grill for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden
