This mackerel pate recipe will be demonstrated by Jenny Turley at Tesco Extra Antrim on Saturday 2nd July, as part of the Northern Ireland Year of Food and Drink promotions.

- 4 to 5 smoked mackerel fillets
- 300g Philadelphia Cheese
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon horseradish sauce

- Skin the mackerel and place in a blender with the other ingredients and blitz for 1 minute. As easy as that- a delicious starter or snack in 5 minutes! If you like it more spicy then add more horseradish and if you like it softer then add more cream cheese.
