Beer Battered Fish 08

Main Ingredients
  • 300g self rasing flour
  • 60g cornflour
  • 15g caster sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 15g yeast
  • 500ml northbound 08

Main Instructions
  1. All of the dry ingredients are mixed together in a bowl, then the beer is added. All the ingredients are whisked together and then sieved, to make a smooth batter.
  2. The fish is then dipped in flour, to help the batter stick better to the fish, then dipped in batter and fried off for about 2 1/2 mins at 180 degrees or until the batter is golden and crispy.
