National Vegetarian Week 2012 runs from Monday 21st to Sunday 27th of May.
And The Vegetarian Society think it is a great opportunity to get involved with a fun celebration of food and boost awareness of the tasty meat-free choices offered in restaurants.
This year the society is focusing on vegetarian breakfasts and are encouraging businesses and organisations across the UK to promote their veggie breakfast options by adding an entry to their What’s Happening Calendar at www.nationalvegetarianweek.org.
It could be a special offer, promotion, discount, tasting session, event or anything that highlights the fantastic range of veggie food available. A competition will also be held to see who has the best idea for a veggie breakfast butty, so let them know your favourite combination!
Don’t serve breakfast items? Not a problem – The What’s Happening Calendar is also open to any entry related to vegetarian food or anything that promotes meat-free choices.
National Vegetarian Week is seeking official partners for 2012 too, so get in contact with them if you are interested. To find out more about NVW 2012, please email Graham Drummond on firstname.lastname@example.org call 0161 925 2000
