It’s taken a while, but finally Northern Ireland’s superb food and drink products are getting the recognition they deserve on a worldwide scale. Food writers from Dublin to Dubai are raving about our marvellous meat, cracking cheeses, brilliant breads and stunning seafood. The Great Taste Award people are so impressed with what we have that they staged 3 days of judging in Belfast for the first time last year! Our producers have gathered up hundreds of coveted stars at this stage as well as a clutch of Top Ten Foods in the UK listings and two Supreme Champion Awards. We have 150 producer members and The People’s Choice Award is an opportunity for local products to get the recognition they deserve!
