Standing 850 metres high (2,786 ft), Slieve Donard is the highest mountain in Northern Ireland, with towering views over neighbouring peaks.
Tracy Hamilton said: “We are delighted to be part of this exciting and energetic event, raising funds to help Marie Curie Nurses continue to provide care for people with terminal illnesses in Northern Ireland. I am dusting off my mountain boots and greatly look forward to heading to the Mourne Mountains on 9 June.”
Suzy McIlveen, Marie Curie Events Manager for Northern Ireland, said: “This challenge offers people the chance to enjoy breathtaking views and an enormous sense of achievement having reached the highest point in Northern Ireland.
