Membership Process

Membership Registration

Businesses or individuals who wish to become members must apply and submit their membership application and fee.

Upon receipt of the appropriate fee and completed application form applications will be considered by the Board to ensure they meet the membership criteria.

Product Registration

Members may apply to use the intellectual property on specific products that qualify against the three criteria relating to the Northern Ireland Good Food is in our Nature trade mark, again through applying for product registration – online and submitting the appropriate fee.

When members are accepted and have registered the relevant products they may participate in Northern Ireland Good Food is in our Nature promotions.

Key steps to membership

1. Business applies to become a member and
2. to register products
3. Both processes will only be considered after receipt of appropriate fee (see ‘Fee Structure’)
4. Product Registration Applications will be batched and considered by the Board – the aim is to have a response within 10 working days.
5. In exceptional circumstances applications can be fast tracked but there will be an additional admin charge for this service – contact Michele Shirlow directly if this is required
