Food Criteria

The following are the criteria used to determine the eligibility or otherwise of any produce or products seeking to be registered to use the intellectual property of the company.

  • Food 'produce' which has been produced in Northern Ireland, or
  • Food 'products' which are produced in Northern Ireland from raw materials which have been produced in Northern Ireland, or
  • Food 'products' which are produced in Northern Ireland, either partly or wholly, from raw materials which are not available (or produced) in Northern Ireland.

Food 'produce' shall de defined as 'primary' food stuffs which have not undergone any further processing with the exception of portioning or packaging for sale Food 'products' are defined as products which have undergone some element of processing, adding value, combining with other produce or products or secondary packaging. Products which do not meet these Eligibility Criteria can not be registered to use the company's intellectual property or benefit from the company's promotional campaign.
